This chair is not really worth it in my opinion. The fabric used for the cushions rips on the side where the screws are. On top of the there is hardly any cushion. The handles weren’t the design well and don’t sit well on the chairs. The part that covers the arms with the fabric doesn’t sit where it should. Overall, next time I’d rather spend more money for a better product. In less than a yr it ripped. Screws kept coming loose.This chair looked great when I first built it and placed it in my nursery. It’s cushioned well and it’s comfortable. Of course this was when I was nine months pregnant. After sitting in it a few times I realized there was a problem, the chair has a tendency to tip over if you don’t sit in it just right. But even that I could have dealt with. I had brought home my 3 day old son and sat in this chair to feed him when the dowel in the back broke off and I started to fall through with my newborn son in my arms. I contacted the seller who told me that it had been over their thirty days and I needed to read the warranty and contact them. Admittedly, it had been over thirty days. The penalty for having my baby nursery ready early I suppose. When you buy gliders that break with your infants in your arms, make sure you’re a slacker and you do it within a thirty day limit so you can return it. I think the seller should have worked with me. My father in law repaired the chair for me. When he pulled the dowel out the composite of the wood looked like sawdust. Cheap non durable quality. He replaced it with a real wooden dowel. This chair was too much money to be so dangerous. I have attached photos with the bad dowel next to the real wooden dowel.EDIT/UPDATE: The seller contacted the manufacturer for me and the manufacturer replaced the entire chair without me having to return the broken chair, which I appreciated. I changed my stars because the customer service from both was very helpful. I have not built the new chair yet and cannot comment on its quality. However, we fixed the broken chair and I still like it very much, despite the issues.Looks nice but not very strong. I’m only 158 pounds and the back wooden rods pop out of the support holes they go in. Maybe some wood glue will stop it I don’t know. Haven’t tried it yetI got the glider and ottoman in just a few days after ordering. I like the color, and it is comfortable to sit on, but we had issues. The holes for the screws/bolts do not line up on one side (where the arms attach to the back)--I'm talking off by over 1/2-3/4 inch. We are handy and torqued things and made it work, but someone less mechanically inclined would likely have shipped the whole thing back. As it was, I was worried we'd break the wood because of the amount of stress we had to put on it to get things to line up.Also, the hardware pack was missing 4 of the bolts to put the ottoman together. Not too big a deal and I wouldn't even have been overly upset about it (they are small and things go missing--I get it...), but it took NUMEROUS emails from me and OVER A MONTH for the hardware to actually get shipped to me. Poor, poor communication from the seller (OJCommerce) on this-- I did get 8-9 emails from them (3 before I even got the glider set, asking me to contact them if I had any issues), but the ones received after I told them I was missing hardware were just generic/boilerplate emails with no information other than 'we received your email and are investigating the issue'. I had to complain to Amazon before anything was actually sent to me, and again it was a MONTH before the bolts got here.Some of the original hardware we got was also not well made--the heads of the bolts were not straight, and the hole the allen wrench goes into was split open/not in the middle of the head, etc. Very poor craftmanship. Because they ended up sending us an entire hardware pack again, we were able to not use the crappily made pieces, since we ended up with some extras.Overall, I'm happy with my glider set now that it is actually all put together. Definitely 'buyer beware' with the hardware quality and the quality control for the hole placement location in the wood frame, and definitely think twice before using this particular seller.Received it quickly, easy to put together, Looks great , feels convertible , But it is smaller than I thought , I bought one for each of my Daughters for this Christmas, This is a women's chair not so much for a man unless the man is really short and tiny , If you are a really Large person I would not buy it. I would say if you are under 250 lbs. it may work ok. We could not find any info on how much weight this chair can hold so Here at Amazon I was able to get some input on it by the customer answer and Question section. If I could buy a Glider again I would spend the extra money and Buy a regular size Glider not a nursery one.Great bang for your buck.We still use it after 3 yrs, either to sit in the room while fixing my son, or for grandma to rock a new born... has not broken down... very practical in my opinion. Some details that will help.Confortable: acceptable, let’s face it, it’s not the best and hence the price, otherwise either go pay at least 3x more, or simply buy extra cushion to save the money. I weight about 160lbs and never complained of it being overly uncomfortable, neither none of the other people rocking on it that may weight 30 - 40 lbs more. Comfort wise I can tell you I don’t need to pay extra.Can it break?: yes anything can break, specially if you try rocking in a direction not supported by the chair’s design, so use caution and common sense.... this is not a six flags machine!. If you have missing parts or don’t put it together well... it may also break since it was not designed to work with missing parts or not properly assembled.mine still looks and functions like new after 3 years.TOXIC - do not buy !! the packaging comes with a notice mentioning 'toxic substances that cause stillbirth, infertility and cancer.''Purchased this for my daughter for the nursery of our soon to be grandchild, when it came there was no obvious signs of damage with packaging. Soon became obvious that the chair is not greatly made and for £120 it was dirty and had cracks in it. Not impressed at all and wouldn't recommend to others. Look at the photo to see damage, also wasn't painted on the foot stool well but cushions hide this. If I knew the quality beforehand I certainly wouldn't of paid the price form a damaged chair. Only giving 1 stars as no option for no stars!You get what you pay for. It is practical and does the job. If you want a higher range chair then your paying about a £100 more. I think it is comfortable and it looks nice in my room. I have been struggling to breastfeed for the past 6 weeks on my uncomfortable sofa and bed. This has been a life changer and has made my life easier. I'm 5 foot 4 and average build. My partner assembled it very quickly.Product was a mixed bag. Had to order it twice as my first product came damaged, cost a lot to return. The second one came in better condition and work a dream. Easy to assemble, comfortable and sturdy. Unsure if the damage to the first one was due to the delivery crew or the manufacturer but non the less a good product when it comes in one piece.Bought two of them. They are so lovely. Look very nice. The footstool is good.
